Why we bake our own lepinja

A shop-bought lepinja falls apart under the meat juices. Ours is made with the same starter as the bread and baked on stone, so it holds both the ajvar and the kajmak.

Two rounds

• in the morning, for sandwiches and breakfast
• at 16:00, for the evening grill

If you order a pljeskavica after six, its lepinja left the oven less than two hours earlier.
